Wouldn't think so. How about putting your recipe up to look over, or, you can get people to give you some good ones. Here's one, for example, that I've used with some success:
Melt chocolate with butter in saucepan over very low heat; stirring constantly until smooth. Cool slightly. Beat eggs, sugar, and vanilla in a large mixing bowl at high speed 10 min. Blend in chocolate at low speed. Add flour, beating just to blend. Stir in walnuts. Spread in greased 13x9" pan. Bake at 375~ for 35-40 minutes. (if 8x8 pan, 55-60 min) Check with toothpick. They will look moist even when they are not, so be careful not to overbake. Cool in pan. Cut into bars or squares. Makes 24-32
Thanks, I'll try this one soon! I actually used the one on the back of the Baker's Chocolate box because a friend of mine makes brownies with it constantly... I'm planning on checking with her and seeing if she changes anything, but I don't think she does, which is the confusing part. I'll post what turns out when I get there.
